How are your gift certificates delivered?

Our personalised gift certificates are delivered directly to your email for you to conveniently print out. Of course you also have the option of buying a gift certificate directly at the restaurant.

How long does the process take?

The whole process should take no more than 2 minutes.

How long before I get the gift certificate?

You will receive your personalised gift certificate within 24 hours to your email inbox. Typically they will be delivered a lot quicker than 24 hours.

What format are they delivered?

They will be delivered in PDF format.

How do I choose a custom amount?

Though we offer all the most popular amounts for gift certificates, if you want to choose a custom amount you can. Once you have chosen your first gift certificate, you simply select another and click ‘Add to Certificate 1’, which will add the 2 gift certificate amounts together to create your custom amount.

Can I personalise my message?

You certainly can. This option is included in one of our steps and your message will be included on the gift certificate.

Can I buy a gift certificate directly at Waves?

We process all payments locally at the restaurant through BOQ’s own Merchant Facility – so you can relax with the knowledge that you never have to worry about your credit cards being stored online.

Do gift certificate purchases qualify for special days such as public holidays?

Yes they do. As long as your recipient redeems the certificate within 1 year of the purchase date, they can use the gift certificate any day that we are open to the public. We do recommend always making a reservation.

What if I haven’t received my gift certificate?

REDEEMING WAVES GIFT CERTIFICATES

In order to redeem a gift certificate, all your recipient needs to do is present it at the restaurant within 1 year from the purchase date.

For them to make a reservation (recommended) they can call us on (03) 9770 0000 or click one of the multiple book online buttons on our website.

 

GIFT CERTIFICATE TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  2. Certificates must be redeemed by the expiry date – expired certificates hold no value.
  3. Certificates are not refundable.
  4. Certificates may not be redeemed for cash.
  5. We are not responsible if a certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
  6. In the event that the value of the certificate does not cover the full cost of the bill, then the balance must be paid by the redeemer of the certificate.
